We’re looking for volunteers to work the Gatewood Auction (Friday March 13) for our annual volunteer swap. We work at their auction so they can enjoy their party, they work at ours so we can do the same. This is an opportunity to spend some time with Sanislo friends, have dinner, and help another school community. Please consider volunteering, as even just a couple of hours helps out. This meeting is for everyone and anyone that needs a help figuring out how to procure items for our auction. Bring folks not on this email list! Already happily procuring but wanting to bounce ideas off of folks? Come! We’re hoping to generate some good, can-do energy at this meeting and would love your input. Incidentally, if you haven’t noticed the board at the school, have a fine start to our procurements with about $6500 worth of valuable gift certificates and goods. Well done! Have you begun thinking about what you can procure or donate to the Sanislo auction? Maybe you’re going to talk to your favorite stylist or the owner of your favorite shop or restaurant. Do you create lovely things to eat, wear or hang on a wall? Do you or a family member have a cabin, condo or time-share you might be willing to share with a Sanislo donor? How about inquiring about a trip around the lake or bay on Grandpa’s boat? Maybe in your life outside of Sanislo (we know many of you have one!) you have a special talent or professional expertise you can share? When you get your procurement forms, please consider how you can donate to the auction, either through your own donation of an item or service, or through procuring some from our greater community.
