PTA & Sanislo to Provide School Supplies

There is no need to buy school supplies over the summer. Once again, the school will use its bulk purchasing power to provide all the classroom supplies the kids will need. The PTA will be asking for a donation of $15 per child in the fall to help replenish the supply budget. (If you compare this to other schools, this is a huge savings!) Look for the donation envelope this fall. Families are asked to provide a
backpack, lunchbox (if needed), and a water bottle. One exception to the classroom supply rule: the teachers are grateful if every family sends one box of Kleenex to share in the classroom.

This will be my first year in the Seattle School District and my family is just so excited. There are many reasons and this just adds to the list. Looking forward to helping out for the 09-10 school year.

Hi, again, all….Check out the "files" section of the parent forums to see the latest volunteer opportunities flyer. We are also looking for club leaders for fall session. You can find another resource in the files section entitled "How to Start and Afterschool Club" (it has "2008" in front of its title, but it is still 99% relevant!).
