From Your Principal

Support Sanislo

It was wonderful to see all of you last week at the Multi-Ethnic Potluck. The food was fantastic and we were happy to see so many families having a good time!

Tardies / Attendance – although we’re only into the fifth week of school we are already noticing that many students are arriving late and missing some of the core instruction in the classroom. Although it may just seem like 15 or 20 minutes here and there, the time does add up throughout the year and impacts your child’s learning. Also, please remember to call the office when your child is absent.

After School Hours – As part of our vision states, we are working with all of our students to become “responsible” citizens. Part of being responsible is making sure they bring any homework or materials they need home at the end of the day. Classrooms, and especially the Big Top (3rd-5th grade classrooms) are closed at 3:30 and students should not be returning after that time to get items that they have forgotten.
