Introducting our new school mascot
New School Mascot — The children have spoken! Our new school mascot is officially “Sparky the Terrier”, so we will now be considered the Sanislo Sparkies! Students voted on a mascot last week and had to chose between Sparky the Terrier (Captain Sanislo’s dog), red tailed hawk, seal, chipmunk, squirrel, and Sasquatch. Sparky won with almost a third of all student votes, and red tailed hawks and Sasquatch were the next favorites.
